Play Therapy
Play therapy helps children express and explore emotions, thoughts, and experiences through play when verbal expression is difficult. Using toys, games, and creative activities, I take an interactive, non-directive approach to address concerns like trauma, anxiety, grief, and behavior challenges. This process supports emotional expression, builds coping and social skills, and promotes overall well-being, while I observe and interpret play to guide treatment and support growth.
Family Therapy
Family therapy focuses on improving communication, roles, and relationships within the family system. I use collaborative, evidence-based approaches to help families resolve conflict, strengthen connections, and create a healthier, more supportive environment.
School Observations
School-based observations provide insight into a child’s interactions, functioning, and triggers. I use this information to tailor interventions and collaborate with teachers and families to support coping skills, social development, and emotional regulation.
